I'm here at Form Next looking at printers and I just figured instead of trying to do something crazy
0:06
and wait till next week to get the info out to you, actually be here live. Now, I need to know from you whether or not
0:13
the audio is working because I've got no idea. I've got no way to preview this. I
0:19
also need to know if people are actually looking. So hopefully some people will join. This was not planned. It was an
0:26
idea I had 2 minutes ago. So, I figured, hey, why not walk you around the show
0:32
and show you what's actually happening. So, we can flip that round. First up, we've got any cubic. So, there are a lot
0:39
of brands here, but I just want to give you a run through of what Any Cubic have got on offer. Now, obviously, we're
0:46
going to have to navigate the crowds, but here we've got their current lineup of machines. We all know those. We've
0:51
got reviews for them on the channel. Here's what they've got new. We'll come back to that one in a minute.
0:58
and we'll go around here and jump in and try and get over people. So, hey, hello.
1:05
Go at Hi guys. Welcome to the stream. Oh, we've got 20 people here. Brilliant.
1:11
So, there we've got the Any Cubic A1. By the way, if anyone for some reason is
1:17
here watching this, uh, come in and say hi. But, uh, no, that's not it. There we go. It's there. So, that's the Any Cubic
1:23
A1. We'll get to that in a second. Uh there's one free over here.
1:28
So I'm just going to dive in and check out this one. So there we go. Sorry about the
1:34
flickering light lights, guys. But this is Any Cubic's answer to the A1
1:40
basically. Um he was telling me and something that's really interesting is they've got a new hotend and that hot
1:47
end is actually quite narrow. So uh short even. So if we look at the cutting
1:53
module here, it's really low in the actual machine. So what that means is two things. One, as you can see, all of
2:00
the material rather than being above the hotend is actually uh all going in here.
2:06
So there's a shorter travel distance for color changes. The next thing I'm just going to pop this off cuz it seems to
2:11
have finished the print. No, it hasn't. We're going to pause the print. Remind me to turn that back on. There we go.
2:18
So, what we can do here, I like the little readout that tells you which of your four materials you're actually
2:23
using at once. But then, if we pop the front off, there we go. We can actually see in there, we've got the nozzle
2:30
itself, and you flick that off and it's got a really short distance for purging,
2:36
which is incredible. So, it's just it's a minor convenience, but it's one of those things that just
2:42
speeds up color changing. And I think if we say anything about color changing this year, then it's going to be speed
2:50
is what matters because I think we've all seen the announcements from two of the big players, Pusche and Bamboo.
2:56
We'll get to those in a moment. But when it comes to the advancement from 2025
3:01
going into 26, it's all about changing materials faster. So that's one way to
3:07
do it. definitely on the budget end, more classic. Uh it it's certainly an approach, but uh there are there are
3:14
different and better ways. I'm going to see if I can get to the other. So, this is the Cobra S1 Max. I don't want to
3:22
barge in when people are having demos, but the Cobra S1 Max, honestly, we can get to the back of this one here. The S1
3:28
Max is a bigger Cobra is a bigger Cobra S1. Uh there's a few things in there
3:34
that have improved it. Slightly better motors to be honest. The more interesting thing is the Ace Pro 2 and
3:40
I'll give you some info about uh about that in a second. But yeah, um it's your typical thing. You've got an air vent in
3:47
there. It's 350x 350x 350 which is really good cuz we don't have enough
3:52
enclosed larger format printers on the market and some of the bigger brands where we were hoping for such machines
3:59
just haven't delivered. But if we look at this one, one convenience I really like, it's the first side pooper. So,
4:05
anyone who's got a waste system or a material change system, normally you get the material coming out the back. You've
4:11
got to have a bucket here, maybe a slide so you can access it. You've got to always have access to the back of your
4:16
machine. This is a very small but incredibly handy convenience that they've added to the Cobra S1 Max, which
4:24
is just going to make it easier for those color changes. Personally, I'm not a massive fan of color changing. Sorry
4:29
about again for the flickering lights. I'm not a massive fan of color changing because of the amount of waste. Again,
4:36
something we'll cover shortly, but if you're going to do it, at least for material changes and that sort of thing,
4:43
uh that is definitely a convenient way to do it. The other thing I want to look at, and again, flickering flickering is
4:50
the Ace2 Pro. So, they've added everything that we want in the A2. The
4:56
Ace The Ace was good, but the Ace2 has a couple of things. one, it's got a silicon seal on there. Um, it's got
5:03
better way to feed the filament in. Although, I still wish someone had do this at an angle. But my favorite things
5:09
include, we'll get around the back if we can see underneath. Bear with me.
5:15
Hey guys. And again, is this if this is quite jarring for people, I'm sorry. This is either going to work or it's
5:20
not. So, um, the other thing, sorry, I was going to show you at the back is we've got an inlet or outlet here to
5:26
allow um, air flow. So that's one of the problems I pointed out with the with the
5:31
ACE was we heated it but all the moisture stayed trapped in the chamber. Now a lot of people told me I was wrong
5:37
about that and completely wrong. Um but any cubic have have said no it was it was right and that's why they've added
5:43
this. So what I am going to do though um which I need to do onehanded.
5:51
Yep. I'm going to turn it sideways so you can actually now access the PTFE tubes from underneath which is
5:57
incredibly handy. And then the other convenience with this is again unlike
6:04
uh I know we've got the four cables coming out the back but again another convenience of this that I hadn't really thought about until this weekend is when
6:12
you've only got one and you've got a a hub buffer in here. you've got this entire path to feed your color changing
6:20
down in order to get to the nozzle. Whereas on this already the colors, the filament uh is a lot closer to your hot
6:26
end. So again, it's marginal but slightly faster when it comes to color changing. So let me read some comments.
6:33
Uh flip back around and we'll cover the other one. So that is the S1 Max. Yep, he forgot. What did I get? Uh I did
6:40
forget. Good shout. I'll go back now. So, for those who don't know what I'm on about, I uh was doing a demo, not a
6:48
demo, I was playing with the printer and so I could take the uh front fasia of the hot end off, I pressed pause, but
6:54
we're going back now and I've continued the print. Sorry. So,
7:00
there we go. That's uh that's carrying on. And I think yeah, that's showing. Is
7:05
it showing a multimaterial? That doesn't feel like tough TPU, but it is there. Uh
7:11
S1 Max. Yeah. Hi. Um, a Bamboo user who ordered the H2C already. Fair enough.
7:17
We'll talk about the H2C shortly. Uh, if you can ask them why they don't put an extra AMS power supply in the ultimate
7:24
set. Why call it that, I don't know. Um, uh, I'm not switching to horizontal
7:29
because this is going to throw your heads. I'm I can't hold my phone. Yeah,
7:34
I can't hold my phone like that for ages. Uh, I do have a review coming of the H2C.
7:40
Of course, you made me go back. I'm here for you. I work for you guys, right? Let me show you the most incredible thing
7:46
I've seen. If you follow my channel, you know I absolutely love resin printers. That is my bread and butter. This is the
7:54
Any Cubic that we want to see. This is their best printer and trumps the M3
7:59
Premium. So, let's go through it. Anybody who's seen it, sorry, other people are taking photos and I don't
8:04
want to get in their way. For anyone who's seen this on the website, what you might have seen is this. So, we'll take
8:09
that off. Sorry. What you might have seen is this. So,
8:16
two vats and a dual build plate. And the point of this, so they put that front and center. And I didn't I Yeah, like
8:25
they've put it front and center, which I think is dafted. It was the same thing with the M5 and the M7 talking about speed, speed, speed. Putting that front
8:31
and center, I think, puts people off machines because they come with drawbacks. Whereas if we take something
8:37
like this, a dental application and only a dental application where maybe you
8:42
want to print a dental mold and the prosthetic at the same time, then this is what this allows you to do. And some
8:48
of these machines when you're using that grade of resin, the resin is ridiculously expensive. So instead of
8:55
filling a full vat, you only fill these small vats. And I I can see this being a
9:00
convenience for people who use castable resins and that sort of thing as well. But that is just one use case. All of
9:06
this comes off. Sorry. All of this comes off. So you can
9:13
replace that. You can replace the tray as well. So the tray does just come out.
9:18
They've got a normal tray. And I'm happy to see they don't have ACF release film.
9:24
They finally understood it. They've got a PFA release film. And then it just clicks in. And this is such a satisfying
9:30
click. Boom. There we go.
9:36
Boom. And I I love like it it goes in, but it's just that little click that really makes it feel more premium. It's
9:42
got a little bit of wobble there, but nothing that I'm worried about. You've also got an interface here for your heater that it's I want to say six or
9:50
eight pin, but unlike other brands who've just got the two pin, that actually has temperature sensing on it.
9:55
So, it's not just a a current going through. Another thing to quickly show you whilst we're on here is they've gone
10:02
for this beveled glass. Now, I the jury is still out for me as to whether or not
10:08
this is actually going to affect the rendered image, but if I get a miniature
10:13
here that they have apparently printed on this, like I've I've had good
10:18
close-ups of this and I can't see layer lines or anything like that. And this is one of the puppets war models which I'm
10:24
a massive fan of. Absolutely love these. So they're incredible. Um, one of the things they're showing as well is the
10:30
benefit of this is because it's textured and not flat, it stops there being a vacuum on the bottom of the release
10:36
film. So because there's no vacuum, it allows you to um to pull uh and release
10:42
easier. So the example they're giving is that's a model without you uh using
10:48
normal flat glass and you can reduce the supports to that many when you don't have as much vacuum. But again, this is
10:55
going to be down to many of the model creators actually creating models with this in mind and they're limited by the
11:01
worst of the printers out there. So um this is so good. It's premium. It's got a ball screw. It feels good. It's still
11:08
got the pressure sensing. Uh the UI is nice. The USB port, the power button is down. This genuinely is Heyge Gears
11:18
level. Like I say it's Heyge Gears level quality, but with the I think you all
11:23
know what I think of the the Hey Gears Reflex 2. This is beyond Reflex 2
11:29
quality in terms of appearance. I I don't know about longevity and that sort of thing,
11:35
but wow. So yeah, this is great. And it's also got a webcam with a light. And
11:41
I've been assured that the light they've used will not affect the thing. So, we've got everything we want. Oh, solid
11:47
stainless steel bill plate as well. Unfortunately, a flat top. Looks like that's just a standard, but there is an
11:53
easy drain version as well, guys. I'm sorry about the flickering. Um, it's the
11:59
LED uh frequency in here. So, there we go. But this this is really good. Nice
12:05
latch for the arm. I'm I'm really I'm excited to show you my thoughts on that one because I'm very
12:12
impressed. When I saw this, I laughed. I thought, "What a joke." Now that I've
12:17
seen this, I I genuinely think any cubic
12:22
potentially the top dog in resin printing. It It's like It's like a He gear's machine, but with the openness.
12:31
Um Yeah. Brilliant. So, there we go. Um, right. Let me
12:38
Right. We're going to do a walk now cuz the other brands are any cubic are kind of on their own up here. All the other
12:43
brands are down this way. So, Snap Makers up next. Uh, let's have a look. Is there such thing as multiolor resin
12:49
printers? Yes. Um, I would say things like the Mimaki or Mimiky as people have
12:56
been pronouncing it here. So, maybe Maki Mimaki has been wrong the whole time. Um, a good example of it would be
13:03
Stratus. I've got a video on that. Um, but they're basically inkjet printers that that shoot droplets of resin. And
13:10
the way they work is is again more like an inkjet printer. The closest one we can get in consumer is the UI make E3.
13:18
Uh, but that doesn't do 3D models. So, there we go. Uh,
13:23
did did I get an ETA on the Prusser Index and Core 1? What in terms of receiving one? Um, I've just had a
13:30
confirmation this morning that my Core 1L has been requested. So, that's good.
13:35
But no. Um, yeah, Core 1L is on its way. But what that means in terms of getting
13:40
the index cuz the index isn't currently available for the Core 1L. Um, and I
13:46
don't have my Core 1 anymore. So, yeah. So, there might be a bit of a delay on that. Right. Um, so let's have a look.
13:54
So, we'll flip over. There's nothing really to show you here at Snapmaker. They they're really pushing focus on the
14:01
U1. You've seen my review of the U1. If you haven't seen my review of the U1, then check out my review of the U1. But
14:07
yeah, they're basically they're they're basically riding the wave that they generated for themselves
14:13
with the Core 1. With the Core 1, sorry, uh with with the U1. And yeah, that's
14:19
pretty much it. They're showing off some other stuff like their older machines. Uh let's just flip this round. So,
14:26
they're showing off like the Artisan, which is just a ridiculous level of of engineering
14:32
that does multiple things, but that's really not for me. I think the U1 is what's made them. Um, I'm going to do a
14:38
video with that guy. That's Blaine over there in the red. I'm going to do a video with him tomorrow. Sorry about the uh the flickering, but we'll do that.
14:47
So, what we got? 108 people here. Did you miss the Jupyter 2? No, we've not got the uh we've only done any cubic and
14:53
a quick view on Snapmaker. so far. So, there we're going. Also, do you like my
14:58
little 360 at the back? So, I should turn that on and then I'm doing a video
15:04
of you guys and then you get to be in the video. I'll do that. Hang on. No, I can't do it. Look. Ah, I can't reach it.
15:11
So, tell me what you guys want to see. I'm just going to stand here now.
15:16
And then the whole point of this was again just the last minute. I'm going to come here. Look at stuff like this.
15:22
Look, that's a room. I don't even know what's happening here.
15:29
But yeah, that's that's a 3D printer. Should I get one of them? I think my
15:36
wife would kill me. I think what I really want to do, I'd love to do a video on, you know, like the concrete printers. So, uh, yeah, Elus, Elgoo's
15:45
here. We'll get there. But yeah, these things are wild. I'm in the wrong sort of place at the moment as well. I've
15:50
walked to the outside. So, let's go back to the inside. see if I can spot some
15:56
some other brands. Where do you want to go next? Should we go Eligu? We're getting some Elu questions. So, let's go to Eligu. Sorry, it is a bit of a walk
16:03
and obviously I am also dealing with crowds and I'm old and
16:10
out of shape. So, if at any point I start huffing and wheezing, then yeah,
16:17
it's it's because of that. I I literally commute from a bedroom to a garage.
16:23
Yeah, I'm going to walk down the outside because it's going to be faster. I might not see as many cool brands on the way
16:28
and show you as much cool stuff, but there are things like people just doing wild stuff like that tree there. There
16:35
we go. Formlabs is in uh a completely different hall. So,
16:40
yeah, we should see uniformation. They're not here. Uh they've got nothing to show. There's nothing exciting. I
16:47
don't think the last year has been financially good for them. So, oh, thanks so much,
16:54
Wirehead. I do need a coffee, so I I will use that money to to get me a
16:59
coffee. Uh, I haven't actually had one this morning. Um, which is a little bit wild. So, where are we? Are we right,
17:06
we're going to walk past Pr. We're going to walk past Prusche. We'll come back to
17:12
Pruscha. I desperately want to come back to Pruscha. Um, oh, that's interesting.
17:17
I don't even know what this is. There's so much here. And I want to film the
17:22
main stuff, but yeah, I uh Oh, hello. Yeah, I want
17:30
to film the main stuff and and get time spent with a lot of these brands who are here
17:36
and yeah, and go from there. So, all right, we've got a couple of celebrities we're
17:41
going to slightly hijack. So, at least then I can say we've got people on the
17:46
stream. So, right. So, Joel at some point is going
17:52
to be doing a video. So, we know Joel, hang on. We know Joel the 3D printing nerd. We know Joe Prus. So, if you look
17:59
over there, his cameraman Mike is hang there is actually filming a video of
18:06
Joel. So, if you watch Joel's video, I want to see if you can see me and you in
18:13
that video in the background of Joel. Like hopefully I'll be really blurry, but let's not inter interrupt them too
18:20
much and hijack them. But there we go. Should I just run in and go, "Hey, hey, look, you're on the internet." Right.
18:26
Again, we'll come back to Hello. Hello. Right. So, we'll come back to cru. The
18:32
crowd's here while this is why I want to come back to them. We definitely got to talk about this. So, faux bomber. I love
18:39
it. Yeah, photo bomb with a with a faux. So, put that one in the chat.
18:48
push the printer off the table. No, I'm not I'm not that much of a dicker. Like I I certainly don't want to be the Hey,
18:54
I know this is your moment, but Beyonce has the best music video of the year. Right. So, we're here.
19:01
Hello. Right, I'm going to flip the camera around. So, there's more crowds yesterday. Oh,
19:07
wow. I will definitely get a snack after my coffee. Seriously, guys, you you are
19:13
paying my way. So, less flickery lights here. What can we get to? So, we've obviously got the Centuri Carbon. Now,
19:19
one thing I want to say is they have reassured me again. And I went I went
19:26
for a quiet walk with my marketing contact. I went for a quiet walk with him and I said, "Look, seriously, there
19:31
he is. Look, there you go. You're live." And I said, "Uh, look, be serious. Is
19:38
the color thing coming?" He's like, "Yeah, it's coming." So they are still doing the color thing for this. So
19:44
that's the Centuri Carbon. We've all seen that. This is the Centuri Carbon 2. So it's essentially a Centuri Carbon
19:51
with a buffer on the side and four color mounts and then this lid goes on. Oh,
19:56
he's helping me. What's up? You are live. Say hi to the internet. Hi. How we doing?
20:04
Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe. That's what you say. So yeah. So, this is the Centuri Carbon
20:10
2. Um, and in fact, hang on, right? You can tell them about it.
20:15
Hey, yo, what up, guys? So, as you can see, it's our new launch
20:21
2. Yeah. And actually besides of that we
20:27
have we do have some you can see like maybe
20:36
um we change the fan to the left which means that it has better cooling system
20:42
and as you can see from the back which is called like smart grill design smart temperature control like um which means
20:49
that when you do the slicing in our slicer so when you just choose PLA it will just automatically open and for ABS
20:56
yes it's closed and also for like the autoleveling we do some like small
21:02
improvement which means that right now you don't need n that much time on that
21:07
and also like we have the zoom leveling this kind of smart features which means
21:12
it will also like reduce the time on the auto leveling you don't need to like do the leveling on the full place maybe
21:18
just some small project Uh-huh for the center carbon 2 it also have
21:23
more sensors than the version one. Brilliant. And like the models, the nozzles are
21:29
observed. And also like the most important thing is right now we are building our ecosystem which means that
21:36
right now you can use our own app the matrix to like connect our printers via
21:41
Wi-Fi. Uh-huh. That's cool. And also actually not just our FDM printer but also like the Rasm printer like the 16K
21:50
or like set outure. Um, yeah, Mars outro. Mars 5 outro.
21:55
Brilliant. Uh-huh. All right, we'll have a look at that. Right, give me the mic back. I just want to test something. Right.
22:02
So, during that, so I've only been filming for what, 20 minutes, something like that. It tells
22:07
you, yeah, 20 minutes. So, I connected this mic to my phone. That's what the blue is. And everyone's saying they
22:13
couldn't hear you, which is why I then shoved the phone in your face. So, I need to test something, guys.
22:18
Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Did you notice is it any different when I'm
22:24
holding the mic in front of my face or is the audio coming from my phone even though I've got this mic connected?
22:31
No, it's all the same. So, right. So, this was pointless. Fantastic.
22:37
Oh, well, at least at least now we know. So, right, let's move around. So, the Jupiter 2
22:43
Mhm. you announced that a year ago. Yeah.
22:49
Hello. No worries. Hello. How you doing? You're li You're live on the channel. Good to meet you.
22:54
Thank you. Mr. Farhammer's here. Hello. How you doing? I'm fine. So, brilliant. Welcome to Far Hammer Videos. You're on it.
23:01
Good to meet you. Oh, I love that people are so nice here. It's so good. So, finally, it's here.
23:08
Okay, there's a guy looking at it at the moment, so we're not going to Okay, we are. I apologize. Thank you. So, right, let me flip it round.
23:15
So, that button. There we go. So, here it is.
23:20
The audio might not be great here because I've got a thing behind me. So, this has got Can I do this one? Cuz I
23:25
understand this. You tell me when I'm wrong. So, we've got really nice things to look at. 16K screen. Do we know what
23:32
size screen it is? Uh, it's there. 70 mm.
23:37
No, 70 mm an hour. Oh, it's there. I don't know in inches. Like, it's about 13 inish. So, we've got this. I hate
23:45
this. I always hate these. I've told you this. Um, see, I'm not afraid to tell them tell
23:51
people um directly what I think about these things. I like this. I like this. This
23:57
is okay. I like this. What I really like is this. Look, no more stupid build plates. We've now got
24:04
a thick build plate. We're not going to get resin on the top. Absolutely gorgeous. What is the build volume?
24:11
Uh, oh, there. Um, so we've got 302x.4
24:17
4 by 161.9. You know when you put these point mm pointless 300 by 300. So it's
24:26
big. Um I also like big latch. Nice handles. I mean it's heavy. This is
24:32
heavy even for a larger build plate. That's that's got a good size. We've also got an interface there. Why have we
24:39
got an interface there? What does that do? Does that heat this? I guess.
24:47
Hello. That's fine. I will I'll figure that out. That That's more your baby anyway.
24:52
So, I'll speak to the the resin guys. Um I don't like little screens. We've all said that. But I do like the size of
24:59
this. I'd prefer if these were clips, but it's got this mechanism on it, which I'm not going to fully undo because
25:05
it'll leak. But this mechanism here is kind of like the Chitting Systems Hoopat. Stupid name, great idea, where
25:12
you can easily replace release film. I think that's everything about it, isn't it? Have I missed anything? No, it's
25:18
fantastic. Um, it's also got like not Gwing, but these wide open doors. That's
25:25
That's amazing. The next thing is this, which is insane. Uh, it's the mercury
25:31
wash. It's not a cure. So, what you've got here is a massive bucket of I'm
25:37
guessing fluid. And then you've got a wash tank. Um, inside here is a huge
25:44
container. So that is to fit Oh, I see.
25:50
Yeah. Oh, so that actually goes direct directly in there. So this is made specifically to wash this cuz one of the
25:57
biggest problems with large printers the uh is is just washing it. But this has
26:04
jet sprays. So it's actually got There you go. You can see them in there. And
26:10
unlike other brands, I'll just say other brands but won't say who. Um unlike other brands that also then force you to
26:16
cure it in a large container, there's no curing in this. Curing is separate. So
26:21
there we go. And then yeah, after all that, we've then got the remaining lineup which you've already seen on the
26:27
channel. So right, I'm going to I'm going to love you and leave you. Thank you again for all your time.
26:33
Great guy. Yeah. What else? Right, let's move on. See you in a bit. Yeah.
26:38
See you later. See you later, man. So yeah, so there we go. Any questions? Oh, when does the Jupiter Yeah. When's
26:46
this coming out? Um, I think it should be in the quarter one. Quarter one. Yeah, we heard it here
26:52
first. Might be on the website already, but yeah. All right. Thanks, man. See you in a bit. Good to see you, too. I'll catch
26:58
up with you later. So, there you go, guys.
27:03
Right. So, can we take a break a minute? I know we want to see more stuff for
27:09
resin. No, that's not it. Let's do one more brand and and then I'm going to Oh, I'm
27:14
so sorry. I am so sorry, guys. I've just walked through someone's shop. Uh, you get a lot of that here. Um,
27:21
unfortunately, apologies aren't going down well because I don't know whether or not people speak English. Uh, so I
27:28
know in Chulong, which I think is excuse me more than I'm sorry, but we'll figure
27:34
that out. Okay. My washing machine in uni
27:39
uh said hi. Hello everyone. Welcome. Welcome, welcome, welcome.
27:46
Sorry. Thank you. Okay, so we're going to go everyone's brand that they love to
27:53
hate. Randomness. Hey, Gears. So, yeah, this I think is the last of
27:58
Resin while we're here. Hello. You're live. So, say hi to the internet.
28:03
Hey, how you doing? Um, but yeah, so this is Heyge Gears. um obviously come
28:09
to the market uh upsetting it in the resin space is is to say the least you know proprietary resin all that uh but
28:16
we are live here with them so that's one of their dental machines we're not allowed to go near that but they are
28:23
really pushing for it it it being less about what you're printing or less about
28:30
printing and and just miniatures. They keep saying to me, "We we don't do just miniatures." And I keep saying, "Yeah,
28:37
but that's the most important thing to me." So, they're really really pushing.
28:42
I mean, this has been polished, but they're clear materials. So, we'll grab that. So, this is resin printed. Again,
28:50
it's been polished. It didn't come off this. It didn't come off the printer like this. But all these different material
28:58
applications are what they're pushing for. And to them, it's more about material development, it seems, than
29:05
actual machine development. So, we've got the lineup over here. Obviously, you've seen there there's the ADH Reflex
29:11
2OS. So, say hello. So, this is my marketing contact who I've been speaking to for 2 years. This is live. Are you
29:19
Are you nervous? It's fine. Don't worry. I'm not going to hound you live on camera. Um, but yeah,
29:26
so we've got a few things here. We've got the green print. I've got one. I don't have the full kit. So, I can't
29:33
finish the review, but it looks like the full kit is pretty much available now.
29:40
So, if you could see the hose going to that's the bit I don't have. And they are 3D printed elements down here, which
29:46
is again, it's not complete, but we've seen the reflex 2. I don't know where the RS is.
29:54
Yeah. So, it looks like the RS isn't here, and it mean Thank you so much. which I really I really appreciate that.
30:00
So, I've now got a coffee, a snack, some cake, uh and and for being a great
30:05
person. That that's massive. Thank you so much, guys. Um so, yeah. So, I think
30:10
it's quite important in the distinction when we look around Hey Gear's booth and we don't see the
30:19
RS. Maybe that's the RS. One second. But it's certainly not front and center.
30:26
Yes, it's here. There's the RS Turbo. So, we've got the RS, we've got the Reflex 2, we've got the Reflex 2 Pro,
30:34
but the RS is not front and center. And this is the important thing. Something that I've tried to explain a lot of
30:39
times whilst being an ass about it myself is HGAs are really they're an industrial
30:46
level resin printer company that that have released a consumer model. So, they
30:52
are pushing more for application than than actual thing.
30:58
I can't think of my words. They're pushing more for applications beyond just miniatures, which is why we get
31:03
things like this. Like, for example, they're looking at it to 3D print shoes.
31:08
These are wearable shoes. So, as soon as I get a Reflex 2 Pro, I'm going to be
31:15
printing shoes. When am I when am I getting a Reflex 2 Pro? Oh, yeah. You have
31:20
soon. Yeah, soon. Brilliant. So, right. So, we will do that. And that's the thing we want to
31:26
say is because I've come into this from miniatures and I love printing them for miniatures. I love print using these to
31:32
print miniatures. But again, when you come here and you look around at the
31:37
different technologies, it does really open your eyes to how much these machines are used beyond just miniatures
31:45
and models. Saying that though, right in front of the the Reflex 2 is is a scale
31:51
model which looks like it's from Yeah. Blackmth Wukong. So there we go. Hey.
31:57
Yeah, I'd love an RS Turbo Pro as well. So, so yeah. So, these guys, as you can
32:02
see, big booth RS is hidden there. And the whole point is just that they're not
32:09
they're not about um trying to go after that consumer market like everyone else. They have a consumer model printer, but
32:16
that isn't their their focus, their their forte, that sort of thing. Right, I'll come back to you. There's Chitty
32:22
Tech. Hi, you're live. I'll come back and catch up with you in a bit. Okay. Great to see you.
32:28
So, I haven't actually had a chance to speak to them all day yesterday. So, what we have here is some kind of dental
32:37
printer. It is incredibly like this looks like a unit, doesn't it? It's just
32:44
wild like what this is. There's also I don't even know what this is. It's a PCU
32:49
Pro. I don't know what that is, but it's cool and I love it. Let me just
32:56
flip the camera around. So, one of the things I love about this, like small form factor, I believe with the height,
33:03
this is going to be DLP projection, but again, like one of the things that Formlabs are blocking people is flexible
33:09
build plates, but what these guys do, they've released this system. So, as it rises up and pushes these bars, these
33:15
pegs will move through. I'll see if I can do it. These pegs move through
33:21
and then push the model off the plate, which it then drops on the screen. And I'm guessing there's a capture of some
33:26
kind, but that sort of thing is like wild, right? Are you happy for me if I go
33:32
outside and take a break? Unfortunately, I'm not allowed or I don't know how to
33:38
just stop the live stream streaming. So, I'm going to have to take you with me on my break. But, it's a good chance for us
33:45
to catch up and me to actually speak to you and answer your questions
33:51
rather than a well rather than trying to navigate around people, explain what I'm seeing, and answer questions. It's wild.
34:00
Right, we'll start here. Classic phone voice in that. Goodbye. Uh
34:06
uh let's have a look. Uh is a machine that goes ping. It's cool.
34:12
Uh should I wait for the LGU Jupyter 2 or buy a GK3 Ultra now whilst it's heavily discounted? Ooh, there's a prime
34:18
there's a question. Do you want a printer now? I mean, the GK3 Ultra certainly had its trials. It is I've
34:25
said in my in my video, it is a good machine, especially now that they've got
34:30
on top of the QA issues. Do you want to wait for a Jupyter 3? I think the Jupyter 3's got uh better heating. It's
34:37
got a webcam if that's something that matters to you. Um I I just touching it once, I immediately prefer the build
34:44
quality. Uh just the the general feel of it. Um the resin pump is
34:51
uh well, it pumps in and out. Now, I don't like resin pumps, but when it
34:57
comes to large format printers specifically, um I definitely think there's a value in
35:03
having a resin pump to to get a lot of the material out. That's not something that the 3 Ultra can do. So,
35:10
how much is money worth to you? Um if you want a resin printer now, get it now while it's discounted. If you're happy
35:17
to wait, I mean, I I'm going to wait. Um, but I'm in the lucky privilege position of I don't need to decide
35:23
between two of them. I'll have both at some point. So, um, yeah, the Jupiter, uh, apparently I should be getting it
35:28
around the end of November, beginning of December. I'll have content out before it goes live. So, fingers crossed. Y is
35:35
a great guy. Um, my previous contact May has left. Uh, she was lovely as well.
35:41
All the people at Elu have been absolutely lovely. Just fantastic people. Oh, have you noticed what shirt I'm wearing as well? It's my shill
35:48
shirt. So, um, if anyone ever comes after me
35:54
for the name faux hammer, I'm going to just change it to shell hammer. So,
35:59
there we go. Right, passive extruders. Yeah, we'll get to we'll get back to FDM in a minute, I
36:05
think. Who else are we going to do on the street? We need to do We need to do Puschia. We need to do Bamboo. I'm going
36:11
to stand in this corner. We need to cover both of those. Um, who else? Who else should we see? Uh, we've we've
36:17
passed Snap Maker. Um, there is FL Sona, though. I forget who we who they are.
36:24
So, there we go. Uh, will I stay there tomorrow? Yeah, I'll be here tomorrow. Passive extruders on the new Prusser
36:30
look sick. They do. They do. So, I I don't want to say more about that yet. Uh, yeah, I'll still be here tomorrow.
36:36
Great threedimensional. Uh, I'm here all week. Uh, watching for a year now. Enjoying Eligu Saturn for Ultra. Not
36:42
quite ready for FDM H2S. Looks sweet. Yeah. Mhm.
36:50
So, on the ventilation video, I've now had the ventilation installed, but I've got unfortunately, like I'm doing that
36:57
video as a favor. I didn't get a discount. I'm not um it cost me seven
37:02
grand to get that ventilation system installed. Um, but I I also got a a um
37:10
uh air conditioning unit put in at the same time. But uh yeah, that that isn't
37:15
going to be a priority video. I didn't get a discount for doing a video. I didn't get anything. I'm just doing it as an info piece. My priority is is
37:22
printer reviews, and I've got a lot. Do I know the predicted price for the Jupyter 2? I don't. Uh morning from
37:27
America. Good morning from Germany. Uh good afternoon from Germany. Just uh BTT. Don't know what that means. E3D
37:34
high flow nozzles. I got one of those yesterday. I'll have a walk over. Uh, just going to copyright shell hammer
37:40
now. Damn it. Oh, you're as bad as um Siege Studios. What about reality? Not that anyone cares. Ooh. All right, we'll
37:46
walk past. Try to find somewhere to sit. I'm sitting for Max. Uh, do they have the Max 4 on display? They do. Um,
37:58
what have been introduced from the open source community? I don't really know. That's not really my thing. But yeah,
38:04
there we go. Uh, for covering the event live, excited to watch. Huge. Let's hope they announce in the next day's official
38:09
release. It quarter one. I think I think we're probably looking at January, February. Uh, root to stand for new2
38:16
system TPU. Big tree tech holding back for the Jupyter 2. I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for then making a decision. GK2 Ultra 3. No, you're not.
38:23
Uh, Jupyter 2 and Ultra 3. Four sensors on the Jupyter 2. Anything new? Oh, yeah. Good point. Yeah, I need to ask
38:30
that. Uh, there must be. There was an interface there, but um Yif wasn't fully uh fully um dialed in on the Jupyter 2
38:37
cuz I don't even think he's had the brief yet. Uh can I show the Panda Cyborg system? I don't know where it is.
38:44
Uh uh interested if they're interested in a Core, please ask Prusser if they're
38:49
interested in a Core 1 XL. Ooh, that's a question. If I can get somebody from
38:55
Prusser who's happy to jump on a live stream, I'll do that, guys. Right. You're gonna stand and watch me vape for
39:01
a few minutes because Woo. And then I'm gonna have another hour in there and then have a drink. How are you all?
39:11
Any new resin formulations this year? Uh, not from Yes, that's 3D printed and
39:17
War Gamer. Um, that's that's the only one I care about. Did I go to the Elgust
39:23
stand? I've just been, so if you jump back in the video, you should be able to see that. Uh, we had a fun time at the
39:28
Algu stand. Stay hydrated. Be safe. I shall do that. Thank you, Sergeant House. Oo. Right.
39:36
It's getting cold. It's not too It's getting cold in Amsterdam. You're a bit more north than us, aren't you? So, uh, yeah, it's not too bad here. I think
39:42
it's like 15°, so we're all good.
39:50
I would also like to see more DLP printers. They're just too expensive to bring to the consumer market.
39:56
Um, any jewelry manufacturing samples? There's not that I've seen. I'm sorry. It's freezing an island. That's cuz
40:02
you're you're an island. Um, and it's tiny and surrounded by ocean. So, there
40:08
we go. Nice and warm in Australia. All right. All right. Are we just flexing? Is that what this is about? Right then.
40:14
Should we go and see if we can see Prussia?
40:21
I don't want to go in. It's It's so hectic in there.
40:32
Okay, let's do it.
40:39
What do I think? So, if you skip back in the video, you can have a look. We've done any Cubic and Eligu. Um, as a recap quickly,
40:47
I'm really impressed by the P1. I'm really excited and impressed by the P1.
40:52
Sorry about that. It's like a heat barrier. you have to walk through. So,
40:58
here we go. And again, sorry if this video is a bit jarring, but I figured I'd just do it a slightly different way.
41:06
Um, I would love to be one of those channels who can afford a crew, you know, and I'll just walk around talking.
41:13
Uh, what this stream is about is you've come in of a bad time. It's about uh the consumer resin printers at Form Next. M
41:21
basically all the big exciting ones. So, yeah, that's it. Air curtains. Air curtains are a blast. Very good. I love
41:28
it. Would I pick the P1 over the Athena 2? I don't know. I can't answer that yet. I haven't had hands-on with one.
41:35
Um, the Athena 2 is definitely one of the more interesting machines. Um, it's I I
41:43
love I love Concept 3D for the same reason I love a lot of the other brands
41:50
like Prusser. Um, it's kind of a evolving cycle of of machines. So, when
41:56
you're getting a producer or when you're getting something like the Athena 2,
42:01
you're more buying into an evolving platform than you are just buying a printer. So, there's definitely that.
42:08
Um, however, it's still early days. That's the only thing. So, oh, thanks so much. That's incredible. Thank you. I
42:14
want to say Kais. Um, I really uh I really do appreciate that. I've I've had
42:20
a lot of super thanks. So, I think now um you've paid for my lunch and my breakfast. So, much appreciated.
42:28
Um but yeah, let's have a look. Uh me too. Released this year. We should a
42:34
Bamboo Pro or Jupiter 2. What is better? What is a Bamboo Pro?
42:39
Is that what P stands for? Do we know what any of the letters stand for? Like we know the We know the C and X1C is
42:46
carbon. We know the S in P1S is single. We know the D is dual. We know the C is
42:53
is C changer or color. Don't know. Let me know in the comments what do all the
42:59
all the different things mean. Right. Let's go and see Pruscha cuz Puscha
43:05
changed the game. No, let's go and see Bamboo first.
43:10
You know I'm a Bamboo fan. You all know I'm a Bamboo fan, right? That's that's clear. Yeah. So,
43:19
bamboo 100% has been my go-to. Oh my god. Thank you, Darl. Thank you. Yeah,
43:26
I'm wondering if P is premium like the the premium one S, the P1S is P1 single
43:33
nozzle. Premium one single. Um, could be. So,
43:41
uh, there's a lot of, uh, there's a lot of people around here. I don't think we can get to one. It might
43:48
be because people are streaming. It's there. And there's two. Let me see if I can get
43:54
to the other one. I might change it round. How you doing? You're all right.
44:00
So, it's one of the members of my mini factory just walked past me. So, here we go. So, let me flip the camera. Uh,
44:07
that's the D. That's the S. Oh, no. We can't get to one. They're both over there, unfortunately. and you
44:14
can see the crowd. So, I'm probably not going to get to that. I don't want to
44:21
barge in front of people and go, "I'm a YouTuber. Let me in." Um, I already feel guilty enough when I kind of slightly
44:27
nudge people out the way. Uh, I have seen another way we can possibly get close, but I'm also being conscious of
44:34
like when people are talking, is anyone filming that chat and am I
44:40
getting in the background of people's videos? But here we go. Let me Okay, I can possibly squeeze in there.
44:47
And that's There we go. So, that's the H2C and it's printing there. So, it's
44:52
doing a little shoe. And then this is the system here that changes it. So, is
44:58
it doing a color change? So, it's doing a purge now. Sorry about the about the thing. And then this system here is what
45:06
changes the nozzle. I'm just going to try and get in here.
45:15
Now, here's my view. There's two things. One, and I want to test this. I want to
45:20
use it, but we've talked about color changing. And I think the most important
45:25
thing in resin in FM printing this year is going to be how materials are
45:31
changed. And we've seen multiple different approaches. Obviously, Snap Maker have definitely had interest with
45:37
their price point and the multi-tool head for four colors. This is technically eight colors. Well, it's
45:43
it's up to 24 cuz that's how many you can have in different AMLs. But at one time, you can have one color in the
45:50
right nozzle. You can have seven quick change colors in these side nozzles, and
45:56
you can change them all at the same time um and just swap them over quickly
46:01
without purging material. So that cuts down on waste. But when it's changing color, like in the time we've been
46:07
talking, that's been two color changes. So even my Snapmaker U1 changes colors
46:13
in seconds. So it it's what 5 10 15 seconds at the most. Here when we're
46:19
changing color, you've still got to even though the nozzles are here, you've
46:25
still got to have the AMS and you've got to retract all the way.
46:31
And one of the other benefits I was saying earlier with the Cobra and with like the Any Cubic and the CFS where
46:38
they've got four PTFE tubes coming out, they at least have the benefit of taking the colors all the way to near the
46:45
buffer. Whereas here, a lot of that time is taken up with it going through the buffer inside the AMS, then this one
46:52
feed going all the way to the nozzle. That takes up time. Then you've also got
46:57
the fact that to fit this mechanism in here, we've cut down and now we're only at 330. So we've got three different
47:05
H2C's. Now bear in mind, this is Bamboo who normalized consistency across their
47:13
platform with having the X1, the A1, the P1, all of those 256, all cubes, nice
47:19
and straightforward. Now we've got three H2C's, all with different bed sizes.
47:27
This is not the bamboo that was bamboo a year ago. It it's it's it's
47:36
not confusing. That's the wrong word. But it's complexity that that is in contrast to the principles that we grew
47:44
with this brand on which is Yeah. So thoughts.
47:52
So it's all good. I mean it's interesting. Don't get me wrong. I'm not now [ __ ] on bamboo. I'm still a
47:57
bamboo fan. The the printer I'm probably going to go with more than any other printer is going to be a bamboo. But
48:07
like just remember the size of the crowd. Like what were there like 10 11 people? Let's go see Brusha.
48:17
Uh Vort Yeah. And Vortekch does still need to purge out the full cut filament
48:24
every single time as well. You're right. It doesn't make s No, it doesn't make sense to retract it. It solves half the
48:31
problem of color changing. So, Bruscha, here we are. Right. So,
48:37
first up, let's try and get in here. We've now got the Core 1L.
48:42
So, the Core 1L is there. It's a bigger Core 1. You've got a much bigger build volume, but you
48:50
don't have a significantly larger footprint. They've also brought these out, which is their solution to keeping
48:56
filaments dry. Again, there's no heater in it or anything like that, but you've got a little desicant holder. It's a
49:02
solution that exists to buy the brand. And I think for a lot of companies, what these brands are realizing, for a lot of
49:09
companies, people don't want to buy, most people, sorry, don't want to buy a printer and then come up with the wait
49:15
for the community to come up with their own mods and solutions. They want to buy the printer and then what they want to
49:21
do after that is just have the brand have the solution for all the different things. So there we go. That's Prussa's
49:28
solution to keeping filament dry. And I don't hate it because these I imagine I
49:34
don't know the prices. I haven't been here. These are going to be relatively cheap. And because these are going to be cheap, it means for every, you know, I
49:42
can have 10 of them spare and I'll keep my filament in it when I'm not using it as well. So it solves more of the
49:48
problem than the AMS. The AMS when I've when I'm done with my filament, I take it out and then I've got to find a
49:53
solution to keep it dry. Right? Bear in mind, remember I talked about the bamb bamboo crowds. Now look at this crowd.
50:02
Slightly different, right? So, and the reason this crowd is so big
50:10
is because everyone's trying to get to this and I'm going to try my best. Like
50:16
even in the time I stepped around one person, three more people added, three more people joined the crowd. Like
50:24
so yeah. That's crazy.
50:36
Like the index really has changed the game and it's really weird to see I'm
50:44
going to nick a chair that someone's got. So, here's the thing. No, no. November
50:50
19th, we've got Heygears have got the best resin printer, but it's locked down.
50:59
Bamboo are the the most approachable, the most featurerich
51:06
machine and and also the cheapest of the the top end.
51:12
November 20th, any cubic potentially have the best
51:18
resin printer on the market and Prusser have the most featurerich
51:25
machine whilst being the cheapest. It's true. It's been Hey,
51:32
I didn't see you cuz you're not interested. So, sorry. This guy works for Prusser. Um and and yeah, now saying
51:39
that before shipping. Before shipping. Before shipping. Before shipping. Before shipping. So if you if you live
51:45
in Prague, super cheap. But no, like genuinely it has changed. Sorry, I
51:50
genuinely didn't know you were there. Um but yeah, so it has changed in 24 hours.
51:58
The market's potentially flipped on its head. Now, in all seriousness, there's a lot to the Bamboo platform that I do
52:04
still like, but you've seen my videos. I have been saying, and I, you know, I've said this, it's been hard to find
52:11
Prusser's relevance in the current market. Oops. Like, you know, this is why I'm
52:18
I'm glad I did not [ __ ] on them too hard because the index
52:24
solves so much of the problem, right? So I we've got eight colors. I don't know
52:31
that we need more than eight. You can still use the MMU with the index as
52:37
well. Now the thing with Prusser is it's still a little bit more
52:42
pruser aren't becoming bamboo. Let's just say that like Prusser are still more of a
52:49
research company than than a consumer product. But when it comes to
52:55
desiraability that that trumps
53:01
and sorry I keep saying saying color but the the prusser core one not the L
53:09
the prusser core 1 with the bond index I think has just become the most
53:15
desirable desirable machine on the market. Then when you get the Core 1 L,
53:22
you've got 10 colors. And then when when are we getting a Core 1 XL?
53:29
The Core 1 XL XL. Is that a Well, there's a Core L Core 1 L just came out, right? And then you're talking about the
53:36
the index for that or Yes. So that's 10 colors in theory soon. TM. Yeah. Yeah. Every everyone's various
53:43
it's live. Sorry. Oh, hi. Hi everybody. Um yeah, lot lots of speculation. So there's still there's
53:49
still testing on it, but there's theoretically possible to get 12 tools uh on the on the size of that.
53:56
Oh, so right. Okay. So you heard it. I don't know if you guys The question is will it be 10? Will it be 12? And that's still
54:01
Oh, so we don't know. So it is coming. It may be 10. It may may be 12,
54:08
but the question the question we just had is So we've got the Core 1 L. Yeah. Uh we've got the Core 1 Core 1 L.
54:13
Yeah. Core 1 XL. Like it's possible. Are you not entertained or something?
54:20
Oh, all anyone wants to know is what's next. Every everything's possible, of course. But, uh, we'll see.
54:26
You know that I'm I'm sworn to secrecy. To to be confirmed. To be confirmed. Genuinely don't know.
54:31
There's a few people on here who are saying, "Hey, it's Pooch. Yay, it's Pooch. Hey, Pooch." Yeah. So, hey.
54:38
Brilliant. So, come to Form Next. It's amazing here, guys. Don't come to Form Next. Watch my videos. That's why I'm doing this. Stay
54:44
at home. No, don't don't do both. Stay here. Stay here. So, brilliant. Right, I'm going to leave you because I'm I'm
54:49
currentlyounding you. But what camera is that? Oh, DJI 360.
54:56
It's It's It's kind of like an Insta 360, but as soon as it goes underwater, it's [ __ ]
55:02
It's absolutely terrible. Don't swim with it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. These ones are great. They're great. I've I've got the the
55:08
Mini3. Yeah, I had not seen. This is great. It's fantastic. I got it to go on holiday with then I went diving
55:16
and and um me and my girlfriend were like, "Oh, look at those fish. Thousands of fish. You can't see a thing. It's
55:21
just water." I was I was so disappointed. Yeah.
55:27
Wait, wait for the Gen two. Like if you Yeah. If you care about like color accuracy between them for your footage,
55:33
you want to stick in the same ecosystem, but wait for the Gen Two or wait for a dive case if if you do diving anyway.
55:39
So, not as much. Oh, you'll be fine. So fair enough. Bye. Bye.
55:44
See you. Bye. There's there's like eight people here, mate. Cheers. Thanks, Pooch.
55:51
So, yeah. So, what do you think? What do we think he is sworn to secrecy? Of course he is.
55:57
Um, what do I think the selling point of the next generation PR? You know, the
56:02
change I want to see, and I don't even know if it's possible. What I want to see is somebody come out
56:08
with a tool head where I can feed in cyan, yellow, magenta, black and white.
56:16
And I want to see that mixed in the tool head accurately for color changing.
56:21
That's what I want to see. So I don't know that that is possible.
56:27
Like in theory, as Poops just said, anything is possible, but I would love to see someone come out
56:34
with that. Um, when it comes to resin printing, I don't know. Check out my video that I'm uh doing for January. And
56:40
there we go. So, I think that's everyone I have the energy to cover. And the
56:47
reason I say energy to cover is I didn't realize how I'm going to go stand outside this way.
56:53
I'm going to show you the secret exit. So, I didn't realize how hard this would be. My both my hands and my arms are
57:00
absolutely aching. Um, and I'm walking around doing this, trying to dodge
57:06
people and do that. And again, I'm an introvert, guys. I'm a war gamer. I'm a miniature painter. Um, we don't do Oh,
57:14
echo. We don't do people well. One second. Fly me to the moon and let me
57:22
I know I can't sing, but but that was uh I don't It's either this way or that
57:28
way. Yeah, the acoustics in here are lovely. Um, it's not this way, it's that
57:34
way. So, yeah. As for resin, I've got a video
57:40
coming out in January where I'm talking about where it needs to go, where I feel it needs to go, but I'm not the expert. I'm just a guy who winges about these
57:47
things. I don't make them. The same as my idea about a multifilament blending
57:53
nozzle. Don't know that that's possible. Here we are. We're outside. So,
57:59
feel like I'm in GTA. It's one of them spiral things where the cars go up. So yeah, those are my thoughts. This was
58:07
how long we've been on. We've been on for about an hour. So that's good. Let's try to the hour which gives us 1 minute
58:14
20 seconds. Hopefully have I hopefully I've come back now. Sorry about that. I was very
58:20
very indoors there surrounded by a lot of concrete. Hopefully now it's good.
58:25
But oh no, I'm not putting myself down. I'm just saying I thought I had the energy to do more. I don't. But I wanted
58:32
to do something with you guys to say, "Hey, I'm here. You want to see stuff?
58:37
This is stuff live." Um, like a lot of what I'm saying today as
58:42
well is like I've got what is it? I've got my rose tinted
58:48
glasses on. I'm here seeing it, getting caught up in the buzz for the first time, just like everyone else. This is
58:54
why I like to do reviews when I've had chance to sit and think and mull over
59:00
because one, I can come up with better jokes. Two, I can actually think about it and objectively criticize it. Whereas
59:06
here, I am Oh my god, this is wow. It's exciting. It's thingy. Um, I think with
59:13
the H2, the problem we had was with the H2C, they [ __ ] that up. They [ __ ] up
59:18
the release. Had they have announced the H2C yesterday and we didn't know about
59:24
it beforehand, we would have all gone, "Ooh, yay. Wow, this is new." And we'd
59:29
be caught up in the buzz and the excitement. But they [ __ ] it up by revealing it when the H2S was released.
59:37
And that pissed off a lot of people on the day. It surprised a lot of people on the day. and that like especially
59:42
content creators who have spent weeks working like me and others who have spent weeks working with the H2S, we
59:49
released that video and at the same time Bamboo are going, "Oh, but don't look at that. Look at this new one." So, that
59:55
pissed us off. But it also and it was a knee-jerk reaction to the Snap Maker doing so well. I think we all know that.
1:00:01
That's how it that's how it uh it came across. They were like, "Oh [ __ ] people
1:00:06
are backing this. Um they need to know we've got a better color changer solution coming. And then we've all had
1:00:12
chance to look at it and consider it and go, "Yeah, that that that doesn't solve
1:00:19
the problem. It solves half the problem." And not even as well as some of these cheaper brands like any cubic,
1:00:25
like Eligu, where the tool changer, where the material is halfway to the hot end before you even start the color
1:00:31
change. Bamboo, the bamboo H2D is going to go down in history as a very, very
1:00:38
impressive technical achievement. but a very slow color changer. And I think that's what the next year is about. The
1:00:44
next year is about who's got the fastest color changer with the most nozzles.
1:00:50
Even though I've always thought color changing is a gimmick, that's because it wastes so much. I've seen firsthand the
1:00:57
U1 when when color changing doesn't waste so much, it becomes
1:01:04
usable. It comes it becomes a benefit. It's tidy. It's efficient. It goes in. Prusser have just come out with an eight
1:01:10
tool changer for a reasonable price on the core one, but I think everybody so
1:01:16
everyone's caught up in that excitement because we knew about it. We didn't know about not fully about eight colors till
1:01:22
now. Oh my god. Wow. This is amazing. It's fast. It works. It does the job. They've got it here. It's printing. It's
1:01:29
live. Joe Prusser has got the biggest [ __ ] smile on his face and he deserves it. Um, I've been sour on
1:01:36
Prussa for a while, but they just flipped the script. They just flipped the script. Um, we are here again. I I'm
1:01:44
saying that rose tinted goggles excitement, but I think that's what people want. They want color changes.
1:01:50
Unless we can get a color merger, color changes.
1:01:55
That is what we want. Eight colors on the Core 1, eight, 10 to possibly 12 on
1:02:02
the Core 1L, and then I I don't think I'm being unreasonable
1:02:09
to say people are going to want a Core 1 XL. Yeah. Can you imagine that? A Core 1 XL with like what 20 plus 20 colors.
1:02:18
Dare to dream. But [ __ ] hell. Right. to answer a few questions. Yes, I do have a H2C coming
1:02:26
for review. I don't have it yet. I have a P2D coming for review. I don't have it yet.
1:02:33
I have all of the machines you've seen today. I've got coming for review. I
1:02:39
don't know about the Bond. I might now have to I sold my Core one because I needed money. I had to get rid of all my
1:02:45
printers. I've done that. Um, I now I don't know whether I now have to buy another core one in order to show off
1:02:52
the index. But yeah, there we go. P2D, sorry. Uh, P2, not the P2D. Um, I'm
1:02:59
getting confused. Uh, that that was just a thing. There isn't, as far as I'm aware, there isn't a such a thing as a
1:03:04
P2D. Uh, I'm getting the P2S. Um, yeah. So, no. Yeah. Sorry. I'm I
1:03:12
completely misspoke. I'm gonna get [ __ ] for that if anyone says hammer says a thing. It it was just there's too
1:03:18
many [ __ ] letters. Um but that that would be a winner. I would like it if a
1:03:23
if a P2D were to exist. I would like the idea of that, but I would like it
1:03:28
because of the if the start size stayed the same. Um it it I know it's a tiny
1:03:35
thing. I'm I need to ask you. I want Yeah, buy the Core 1L. No, I've I've got I've got the Core 1L. Uh that's coming
1:03:41
for review. I just had an email this morning to confirm that's coming. Um, but because of the the index, the index
1:03:48
is only currently compatible with the core one, I might now need to buy
1:03:53
another core one in order to replace my core one that I sold so that I can cover
1:03:59
the index sooner cuz otherwise I've got to wait until it's available for the core 1L. So yeah,
1:04:05
but yeah, in all seriousness, you know, when I've got to be in my bonnet with with Bamboo and and I get so much [ __ ]
1:04:12
for this. And bear in mind, last year I got so much [ __ ] for the Hey Gears reflex, and here we are a year later and
1:04:19
everyone's like, "Oh yeah, he was right. It's [ __ ] brilliant. It's really good. It's amazing." Um, and I know
1:04:24
people say, "I hate to say I told you so." I don't. I feel [ __ ] vindicated when I get to say, "I told you so." Like
1:04:30
we all do. But when it comes to bamboo, bamboo was simple, straightforward, done
1:04:37
that. So when I'm kicking off about the bloody build plate size, we've got Bamboo had one one product line, all the
1:04:45
same size apart from the Mini. Now we've got three different size [ __ ] H2s. What the [ __ ] And I and I wouldn't mind
1:04:52
if they all had the same size build plate, but they don't. The the new one has a different build plate to the What
1:04:59
the [ __ ] Bamboo?
1:05:04
Yeah. Uh, yes. When can you buy a core one
1:05:10
with the index installed? I don't know. P2C would be good as long as I don't have the space available. Tool changing
1:05:16
a Snapmaker U1 is faster at 15 seconds compared to core one at 20 seconds. I'm I'll accept it for 5 seconds. What I
1:05:22
won't ac accept as easily is 30 to 40 seconds, which is what what we've got on
1:05:29
on the H2 D. That that's double that's more than double the time.
1:05:36
Yeah, I think you're right. Yeah. Why ahead? I love you being here because you do you do often bring me back to uh back
1:05:43
to normality. I'm on a curb and I fell off. Um, variety is the spice of life
1:05:48
and I think uh we covered elegu at the beginning guys or or near the beginning. So if you missed that, have a go
1:05:54
through. Variety is the spice of life and I think we've all got to be there for [ __ ] I come to the one place
1:06:00
people are hammering. Um hopefully this is okay. But yeah, variety is the spice of life and we all want different
1:06:07
things. If we didn't want different things, then Anna Diamas would be really [ __ ] sore.
1:06:13
I'll let that one sink in. Um, and that's absolutely fine. It's something I say on my channel a lot. Now, I
1:06:20
obviously want the best printer. I'm in I am in the lucky, incredibly privileged position to be someone who most of the
1:06:27
time will just ring up a brand and go, "Hey, can I have a printer?" And I don't have to pay for it. I want to know what
1:06:33
the best of the best of the best is other than Will Smith in Men in Black.
1:06:39
But, oh, they they're not hammering. They're faux hammering. Uh, very good. Um, so that's what I want to see, but
1:06:48
I've also got to disconnect myself from what I want to see at the at the top end and also be reasonable to go actually
1:06:56
like what any cubic are doing. Um, is is certainly an option. Um, it's not a wow
1:07:02
option, but it's an it's an available option that isn't a Creality. And
1:07:08
unfortunately, Creality does carry a rep bamboo. um any cubic carries a rep. Um
1:07:15
but you know they are improving and that that is a choice people can make. I
1:07:20
still wouldn't you know the the benefits of it don't push me to getting like the Cobra X over the A1 because the A1's got
1:07:29
the platform to go with it and all those benefits. But yeah, it's still
1:07:36
it's still an option and there are a lot of options. So, when it comes to things like this, bamboo has a lot of benefits.
1:07:42
There are benefits, I'm sure, to the H2C that I will see when I get hands- on
1:07:48
with it. But I think the more versatility exists in the Bond.
1:07:55
That's my review. That's my thoughts anyway. Oh, Daryl. Oh, you're not wrong. But
1:08:03
yeah, but there we go. Soh, and Elu haven't announced anything.
1:08:10
We've finally got the Jupyter 2 coming. They've got a very um reduced presence
1:08:15
here. Um the guys are doing a great job of showcasing what's there, but the company just haven't got anything ready.
1:08:22
Um and I think that's smart. It'd be nice to see these brands leaprogging each other rather than everyone pushing
1:08:28
for the same machine at the same time. So any cubic I am convinced but wait for
1:08:34
my review. Any cubic I'm convinced have raised the bar on consumer resin
1:08:40
printing by basically giving us an open printer with a lot of the qualities of
1:08:47
the reflex. Not quite there but a lot. Um that's certainly going to be a
1:08:54
choosable machine. Um, so I'd like to see Eligu leap frog over them and do
1:09:00
something else. But I think I think any cubic are pushing for that higherend consumer market, which was good because
1:09:05
again, I'm never going to stop banging on about the M3 Premium until the next one trumps it. Eligu are kind of sitting
1:09:12
in their little bubble of of being the the mid consumer. And there's absolutely
1:09:18
absolutely excuse me, absolutely nothing wrong with that. Right, I'm going to love you and leave you at this point. I
1:09:25
hope this was fun and entertaining. Thank you so much for everyone who got my who sent me a super super thanks. Um
1:09:31
I'm currently sat with a target of 3924 which is going to I'm going to go and get myself a coffee and something to eat
1:09:38
now and then this afternoon I'm going to go and get uh a meal on that. So thank
1:09:44
you guys. Thank you so much. I'm going to go back enjoy the show, talk to some friends, and generally hang out. I'm
1:09:51
going to film some stuff. So, I'm going to cover this in more detail over the next week. So, thanks for hanging
1:09:56
around. Really appreciate it. We've got more videos coming soon. Until next time, PO Hammer out.
1:10:03
Love
