them there's no way of knowing who's paint whose guide that person's followed if they just made something themselves but when you do a conversion and it's a

very particular conversion yeah and you see that recreated on Reddit or Facebook or

um the first I was thinking about this actually not too long ago and the first thing that actually drew me to

converting was um lack of finances and it sounds like it can considering some of the recent

videos that I've done it probably cost more than the original model would have done um yeah so the first I I it was not long

after I'd started playing War 4K and I was collecting Space Marines and it was when the first plastic Space Marine

Commander came out with a few extra bits in in the kit and I went into my local shop and I picked them up and the guy

behind the camera said well if you buy a box of five tactical Marines there's enough spare bits in that Commander that

you can add them to the squad and make five veterans and might give them

different weapons and different heads and stuff and that's exactly what I did and from there I literally just would rather than buying metal versions and

models I would just take plastic bits and make my approximation they're really crude stuff compared to like I found one

of the guys actually is broken but he had um he had two knives and he had but the

thing is the only way I could get the arms was he kind of looks like the knives are snapped off now so he just kind of like looks like he's just doing

that yeah his one arm's like a repositioned

Bolter arm and the other arms are repositioned like just strange combinations of arms so he's got no

top tip there make sure you reuse your bit system bend them you know you've been very careful to cut it off so it's

like reusable and I think as a kit Basher that's something I do a lot I don't when I cut like a hand off a model

I keep the rest of the arm yeah because I'm using that open hand from blood Bowl because I want like an overhand like I

don't know to do a thing cast a spell yeah but the rest of the arm is fine yeah so still that goes back in the bag

and where I think some people just think you're just wasteful and just Chuck it away and then go hey landfill come on
